Karachi, March 02, 2022 (PPI-OT):Allied Bank Limited (ABL) and Million Smiles Foundation (MSF) join hands to spread smiles together with a focus on “education for ALL” and support for “Out of School Children” across Pakistan. An MOU signing ceremony was held in Lahore where Mr. Aizid R. Gill, CEO ABL and Ms. Umme Muhammad, Chairperson MSF signed the MOU. Senior management of ABL and MSF also joined the ceremony at ABL Head Office.
Both organizations agreed to work together for supporting education especially for “Girl Child” and a national campaign of:
Parey Gi Beti, Barey Ga Pakistan
Mr. Aizid R. Gill talked about the importance of Corporate Partnerships to support the education initiatives and felt very excited on ABL becoming part of the education journey to spread Million Smiles for children across Pakistan. He reiterated the importance of “Girl Child” education and how our daughters play an integral role in nation building. He further extended his support to spread this message of education to rural areas and empower children with “tech education” supported by ABL.
At the ceremony, Ms. Umme Muhammad spoke about the importance of education, especially girls’ education. She talked about how together with corporates like Allied Bank, MSF can support thousands of young girls across Pakistan to get basic access to education and empower them for their future. One educated daughter can give you an educated Nation.
Both organizations will be closely working to support education initiatives for “Out of School Children” across Pakistan. Together WE ALL will do our part for spreading “Smiles for Humanity!”
