Sialkot, February 02, 2023 (PPI-OT):His Excellency Dr. Mehmet Pacaci, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to Pakistan on his visit to the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) gave his assurances of priority visas to the members on submission of the Chamber’s Official Visa Recommendation Letter.

The announcement was made by the Turkish Envoy during his meeting with Mr. Abdul Ghafoor Malik, President of Sialkot Chamber on February 02, 2023. During the meeting, both sides exchanged positive views regarding the existing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and resolved to make concerted efforts the promotion the same, especially in the domains of trade and industry.

During the meeting, the President Chamber shared that Turkiye and Pakistan were brotherly Islamic countries sharing religious, cultural, and socio-political heritage. “We share the feelings of love and affection and a bond that is time tested and inseparable”, the President added.

His Excellency Dr. Mehmet Pacaci, sharing his views with the members, said that efforts were needed from both sides to enhance the exposure of Made in Sialkot products through the exchange of trade delegations and participation in exhibitions. His Excellency expressed his resolve in facilitating the businessmen from Sialkot in matchmaking with their Turkish counterparts. Dr. Pacaci was affirmative that with the enaction of the Pakistan-Turkiye trade in Goods Agreement, both sides could conveniently enhance trading figures to USD 5 (B) per annum.
