If we look into the previous floods in Pakistan which was came in 2010 so we can’t compare that flood disaster of 2010 from the current flood disaster. The current flood disaster is bigger than the previous floods. The commission was made after 2010 flood to find out the reasons for this huge damage so it is clearly written on that commission report that due to shortages of dams and maintenance of dams are not done properly. In Pakistan there is no new big dams are made in this past 40 years which is the big cause of this huge loss.

Causes and Impacts of Flood

It is also written in that commission report that due to lack of maintenance of dams, the floods is so much big that dams have not that much capabilities that they stop that floods. In 2010 millions of people are affected from this flood. If we look into the current disaster so it is bigger than previous flood and 10 times more people are affected from this disaster.
Pakistan is already facing many issues financially. The current flood gives huge damage financially to Pakistan. It is very crucial time for Pakistan to recover from this situation and save there people life. Scientist is saying that due to climate change it is happening, In this year there is heavy rainfall in Pakistan so there is no doubt that climate changing is the big cause of this disaster. This flood destroyed many cities of Pakistan, people even dont have clean water to drink. Floods in Pakistan destroyed many families and destroyed many farms. There will many other issues rise like there will be shortage of food and it will increase the inflation. In this situation many countries are standing with Pakistan in this difficult time and helping Pakistan to recover from this difficult situation.
