After opening on a positive note, market got dragged down as investors resorted to profit taking amid lack of triggers. KSE-100 eventually closed at 41,862, -86 points compared to the last trading session. Traded volumes stood at 161mn shares where TRG (+2.5%), WTL (-2.4%), SCBPL (+6.4%), KEL (+2.2%), and HASCOL (-3.6%) were the volume leaders. Going forward, we recommend investors to adopt a buy-on-dips strategy in the Cement, Banking and OMC sectors.
