Lahore, July 27, 2022 (PPI-OT):Descon Engineering’s Lahore Manufacturing Works (LMW) has been awarded with 8 Nos. Heat Exchangers (having over 2,500 Nos. Tubes each) with Surge Drums by Indus Energy Systems Inc, USA. Indus Energy System, USA is renowned for its supplying process refrigeration and gas compression system to more than 500 projects around the globe for LNG, NG and Oil and Gas. Indus Energy is to supply refrigeration system to Venture Global Mexico (through UOP), while LMW will manufacture the heat exchangers for this refrigeration system. The received order is the first one for such overseas supplies in Mexico from Pakistan, and has been won after competing with leading manufacturers of USA and the Gulf region.

The scope of work includes thermal and mechanical design, procurement, fabrication and (FOB Port) transportation of exchangers within a period of 10 months. Descon Engineering is aggressively pursuing its strategic goal to expand its export business and this project win is a result of the team’s efforts in line with this goal.
